Though getting the related qualifications is for the employers to certify you, it's also for benchmarking yourself. Like I would take the rowing competitions once in a while to see how I am comparing to others, this is just a benchmarking process. So why shouldn't I take the related qualifications certification? This is a benchmarking for myself!

The colleagues around got one or two IT qualifications. And just knew that the project manager of our team just took the exam of PMP. This gives me some motivation to get some qualifications.
