Attended a seminar by the meterological society this morning, one topic was about the ventilation and urban design in Hong Kong. As there was news about the effect of wind breakers that the new buildings in Sham Shui Po created on the inner city, it made that topic more attractive. Together with the seminar about the technology used in analyzing the environment, I found town planning is really important for Hong Kong (which is such a high density city), and the weather is also significant in town planning. Also, I wonder how the government (which is just a group of people) handle these factors in approving the property developers to build new sites. At the end, it 's all about policy.
