Redefining Lunar New Year...

If Christmas, New Year is a chance for meeting friends, then the Lunar New Year is a chance for meeting families and relatives. Maybe I dun expect receiving red pockets as I did in younger days, so I gotta redefine the meaning of Lunar New Year.

Just like knowing and communicating with friends, It's also needed to communicate with families and relatives, so it's quite a good chance to do so in the Lunar New Year, no matter it's close relatives or less close relatives.

I think what the must for the Lunar New Year is to go to the flower market and buy flowers with the families. Also, going with brothers to buy new shoes and clothes is also a must.

Went to the police dept to leave the finger print today. No wonder whatever the post you 're working in the police dept, you have to get yourself clarified. Thinking.. dunno the significance of having been working in these sensitive dept such as the police dept and ICAC. Even though you 're not the police offier, or investigators, it's not sure how other companies look at you when you apply their jobs later. So.. really gotta think about it.

Knowing that I got an offer, I feel more confident now.

But knowing this doesn't stop me from finding other jobs. Rather, I will still keep looking for opportunities at other places, and I feel (a little bit ) more confident in finding a even better job.

And when I talked to my colleagues about my career after this contract, I suddenly realize that it doesn't matter if a job is contract-based or not. Rather it's about there's chance of promotion or not. It maybe great to work in government departments as a contract-based staff since the pressure may not be so great, but it may not be so good that you got no chance to promote there. It can only be good if the experience you got there may help you to get higher when you find a job in another company.

Too bad that the whale died at last, what a pity! Seems like the human still haven't figure out the correct way to safe a whale from death. Many times we heard that the whale died from organ damage because of the lost of support of the body weight from water. SHIT...

I like whale, maybe because I was given a pictorial of whale when I was small. I especially like the blue whale, you will feel their greatness if you can see them yourselves in the ocean, I mean under the water. However.. the irony is that.. they 're so vulnerable.

好似很多東西用很長時間也做不完...去醫院的路走來走去都還沒完... 連吃飯都覺得很難才吃完...

Attended a workshop about team building yesterday. It's another great workshop I attended during the contract in HKO. Most of the material are encountered before, but through the games, the concept became more solid. And one thing I haven't come across is the process of building a team. Resolving conflicts is one of the most necessary part.

Suddenly I wanna find a job or a career that gives me the feeling "even it's harsh at this moment, but I am sure I can enjoy my life after retirement", rather than one giving the feeling "I can enjoy my work and my life at this moment (though I keep ensuring that I can enjoy my life after retirement as well)". I think my bro has the former feeling on his current job, that's why he doesn't have much complain on his working conditions.

Busy these days.... not much thought.... the mind is stuck...

Finally solved one of the problems in the freelance. It's because I didn't use the DAO generator, which I wanna download for several days...(but the website is down). Luckily I found an article discussing this.

Got up late this morning, at about 7:35am, 30mins later than usual. But I still managed to come back to the office on time. So obviously, I can even be faster if I got up at usual (with the same pace of dressing up, and going out).

Further to the Flickr I found yesterday, i think this Bonny is enjoying her life. She got a lovely daughter, she can take care of her for most of the time, and she has her own business. It's so good that she can make a living while also being able to enjoy her life. What's more, her business is about selling contemporary products, which are of her favourite style, or something that she like to use. That's the most important thing! Having style, being able to introduce what she likes to others, and.. others buy her idea!

It made me think of my all-time favourite, MJ. He's able to have his own brand, that others buy!

First day of work in 2006...
well... I really dun want to see any unhappiness in the start of this year. How to make a win-win(-win, this win is for myself) situation?

So 2006 has arrived!
While I got no time to review the year before ( i will do that later), I have to look forward to this year. Though I won't think everything will be alright this year, I will be optimistic and keep looking.

Went to Pui O on the last day of 2005. Counted down there... since no one is sure the right time, actually there's no definite countdown at all.

Then in the early morning on the first day of 2006, went to swim in Repulse Bay... I think i really got no warm-up. Even had been swimming for certain distance, I still couldn't breath out in the water, such that I swam with my head up....shit.

After swimming and having lunch, went back home to do my work.
